These are the things I've woven using my picture frame loom! I definitely want to weave more stuff (as soon as I find the loom that I totally didn't lose... haha...)
these three use a premade cotton yarn for the warp, and the weft is all various yarns I've spun myself using stuff like cotton, cat, dog, coyote, and fox fluff, as well as some scrap wool and proper wool roving.
The coyote and fox come from the fimal stages of hide tanning where i brush out the clean fur to make it neat, and of course a good bit collects on the brush. The cat and dog come from normal pet grooming, and the cotton was actually processed by hand from whole bolls i got as a gift!
The leftmost one does have some pre-spun yarn, but i dyed it myself using blackberry and iron. It was actually the very first yarn i ever dyed!
these are both woven with factory cotton/acrylic yarn, but the pink one does have some red wool in it as well. All of it came secondhand from my grandmother's unused yarn stash!
I already have a whole post about this one and all the details about its construction... and another post about the hand dyed and handspun eri silk i used to make it with!
