Another firework has been constantly going off just to gain the Nini's attention!

It is THE HOLLIBEAN.

Nightlight darts over and rolls into a tumble as he scoops the fluff up, somersaulting with her clutched to his chest and laughing all the way until he bumps up against the nearby wall. Legs up in the air over his head, he blows a raspberry at her.

'Happyhappy. New Beginning, yes, happy...'

Nightlight happily spent the New Year chasing fireworks across the planet, snapping at their heels and dancing through the showers of sparks, the embers painting him with ash and gunpowder in their own version of a hello.

He loves these celebrations. Ever since the humans figured out how to stuff colored explosives into tubes and shoot them off into the sky, he’s been right there among them.
