There, he is rescued by a young witch named Marie Monroe, who is the successor to Light Yagami in my Death Note fanfiction, Death Note: The Next Kira. Yuji wakes up to meet her and makes a horrifying discovery: he is not in his own time.

Surgery update: Everything went incredibly well. All of the hospital staff picked up on my nervousness and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and understood everything that was going on. On top of that, I am beyond overwhelmed by all of you that have reached out with your comforting words, stories, and kindness. I felt so scared and alone going into this surgery, but I knew that Eric (my partner) would be caring for me, so I drew him in the last panel of my previous comic. I've decided to update that final panel, to include how loved and cared for you have all made me feel!
