Speaking of live music, I’ll be performing this evening with my band @pocketvinyl in Attica, NY (between Buffalo & Rochester). The event is at a library @smclattica and is free to attend! Is Eric’s jacket older than some of you reading this? Is it so sun faded that the black colour looks closer to rust? Has it been patched up multiple times? Well, yeah. But does it still jacket? Absolutely. . This happened to us recently and it kind of just made both of us laugh! Still not completely sure why we were snubbed. . Oh hey unrelated: Have you gotten my book yet? After 20 minutes the doctor came in to talk me down from the panic attack I was having. . Fun announcement though: I need to get contacts because I’m going to be starring in an indie horror movie! Filming this summer. The receptionist at the eye doctor is very excited for me and asked me to text them once it comes out. I’ll post more about it later.

I’d just moved to New York from Canada, so maybe I wasn’t quite used to hearing people referring to soft drinks as “soda”. (Most of my Canadian friends called it “pop”) Or who knows! Maybe this person ripped their shirt and actually was expecting to find a public use sewing machine somewhere in the dorm! I’ll never know for sure.
