I’m thinking here that, if Haruka lived, he’d be as badly restrained as these two due to the guilty verdict. All because part of the fandom “didn’t want him to hurt himself and others”. This’d hurt him by itself, btw. feel like he’d be very confused and he’d obviously feel really betrayed by MILGRAM, which was his only safe space, besides the obvious discomfort that comes with these. I feel sadder, now… :(

If I had a nickel each time I got really into a character who commited a premeditated (unknowingly to the audience at first) crime involving the murder (strangling, drowning) of a defenseless child (Mirai, Cyril) in order to get the undivided love of a person (mrs. Sakurai, Hugo) who is dear to them, but said person abandoned them anyway DUE to their crime, so they got sent to a completely isolated place (MILGRAM Prison, Soldier Island) with nine other mates due to said crime and endured everything inside it until they eventually committed suicide (starving, hanging)..... I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it has happened twice...... (Haruka and Vera)
