I finally got my temporary string on my sinew-backed hickory recurve that I made with the major help of JWB Bows. Now I just have to sand it, put a finish on it, and make a final string.

Finished a bow! A bit more awkward than the scrunchies but it turned out great. Love the fabric, it looks vintage 🌹

Of Bows and Arrows .

Of all the stalls at this years Glastonbury Medieval Fayre I probably spent the most time at the Fairbow stall where all the Dutch Bows are handmade by bowyer Magen Klomp.

 Seen are a whole hoard of traditional English long bows and war bows up to 200 lb draw , primitive and Native American ,modern  re-curves and Mongolian / Hungarian styles , as well as arrows ,quivers and archery accessories .
