#366days day 166, my page seems to have a lot of blue just lately so I have picked out some combinations that are not blue. I do try to make combinations of items that will mix and match with each other but they rarely get sold together. When I first started I would knit sets of things such as baby cardigan, hat, bootee combo's but then people would say they just wanted the cardigan or just wanted a small gift so just wanted a hat so now everything gets sold separately. This unfortunately leads to some people saying "have you got bootees to go with this" or "have you a hat that matches this" and it's a case of "sorry there was but it is sold". At least I do now have the option of saying "I could make one for you". #366days day 61. #marchmeetthemaker @joannehawker day 1 theme 'Story' I am Zoe, I knit and Sew a wide range of items! I started sewing from a young age on my 1919 Singer Treadle sewing machine. I used to make my own clothes as a teenager and clothes for my children when they were small. I did needlework classes at school and I did a beginners pattern cutting course at Plymouth College of Art last year. I was only going to be doing this to fill in a couple of years before I could draw my pension but the Government had other ideas so I have at least another 6 years to keep going! I live on the Rame Peninsula and sell at craft fairs in the local area. I sell mostly babies & childrens clothes as they are the most popular lines.
