#MarchMeetTheMaker day 1: You & your work This is just a small selection of the items I make and it varies from time to time depending on events or how I feel. I mostly make a variety of bags, baby clothes and small gifts made from offcuts, scraps and fabric that no one else wants anymore. I can find a use for most fabrics and hate the idea that any should head for landfill. A year like no other!! #marchmeetthemaker day 1- Brand introduction I’m doing #marchmeetthemaker2021 by @joannehawker again this year! The past couple of years I have done it over on my art account @thedisc0panda but thought I would do it here on my shop account this year instead for a change, it will help you learn a bit more about me and my business and allow me to post more frequently here. Brand introduction: If I’m to be entirely honest, I’m still working on figuring out exactly what I want my “brand” to look like, and am currently in the process of phasing out some old designs in favor of new things that fit more with what I’d like to make. But, to sum it up- I’m a huge nerd who likes to make cute and interesting illustrations as it says in my bio, and I’m a tad bit obsessed with fantasy...I make pins, stickers, prints, patches (I have one now but am planning for more) and acrylic charms/keychains at the moment in addition to the various things you can find on my redbubble and society6 stores and have plans to expand into more things in the future. #marchmeetthemaker day 1 "Brand Intro" well this is me! As my logo says I am Zo and I knit & Sew. I also dabble in lots of other crafty things but sewing has always been my "thing". Knitting is not so much now as I am trying to learn new ways to knit as I have the beginnings of Arthritis in my "throwing finger", the finger used to wrap the yarn around the needle. Crochet and loom knitting are a couple of replacements when I am unable to knit. I make a variety of bags, gifts and baby clothes. #You I started Hannah's Heartfelt Hobbies 1 year and 3 months ago. I draw, felt sculpt and paint, and I love experimenting with all different mediums. I practiced Japanese fencing arts and earned 1st and 2nd degree black belts in Kendo and Iaido respectively. 4-H has played a huge role in my life, and I have volunteered as a 4-H Shooting Sports Instructor for over a decade. I earned my BS in Biological Science with a combined Phys-Chem-Math minor. Now, along with running my small business, I work as a Librarian Assistant for OCPL doing reference work and teen programming. My subjects are almost exclusively scientifically accurate critters, plants and mushrooms.
