I am over the moon today. My friend @savvylikethat let me commission a shawl from her. Thanks to IG, I watched her hand dye the silk & wool, spin these magnificent textures, and weave them into this piece of perfection. Yes, it arrived to find me in 90 degree weather, but I don’t care. Wearing it anyway. I could stare at this for a year and still find exciting new details. Meet the maker week day 3 Where do I work? Well that is a difficult question to answer as I have a craft room upstairs but I often prefer to take my tools and the project im working on downstairs to the living room and work on the sofa in front of the fire and telly. On my bad pain days I tend to work from my bed in what I call my pillow nest.
