Hair Oiling
In India the oiling of the hair has been practiced for years by women. It helps to condition and soften the hair. I use a particular homemade oily perfume for this purpose. A woody and spicy scented oil with notes of warm vanilla, to massage into the neck, scalp, and hair. Made with lichen and other woodsy fragrances and charged with citrine, and consecrated. One of my favorite witchcraft practices are homemade remedies, cosmetics, and fragrances. I love personal practice being something deeply connected to our own personalities. Seen in the way we worship, our personal preferences in every way, and our own choice of ingredients.
