P A I N T It’s time to make more paint in the studio today. The great thing about making your own paint is if you run out you can just make more! This is how my paint process starts out. I break the larger rocks down to smaller chunks (normally with a hammer which is great fun!) and then using my pestle and mortar I crush this into a fine grain before I can mull it into watercolour. I’ll share more on this tomorrow but for now I’m off the grind some more pigment. An interesting new colour! 😍 Haematite Luster - much like iron glimmer its crushed hematite crystals but this one is different from the other 2 I have. This one acts like pyrite. U P D A T E S. A few people have been asking for updates on the big piece I started last week. It's still very much a #WIP bit it's definitely coming along. For much of this week I had been battling the woes of technology and haven't had so much time to spend painting. (Who knew launching a 7-Day after Trial could be so time consuming).
