✞ There was something about the stranger that had just walked in that seemed... Odd, to say the least. Not necessarily in a ngeative way, just odd in general, and that made her wary. She didn’t trust him, not a bit, yet he sparked her curiosity. So, despite her distrust and conflicting gut feeling, she decided to strike up a conversation with him. She could end it at any point in time, if she wanted to.

i know this may seem kind of strange but i've been thinking about emmanuel & makeup a lot lately cos it would be such a soft look that he'd pull off like thrice a year at most~ and then i realised that you. you know em. and you know makeup. s o i was just kinda wondering... what sort of makeup would you imagine would fit emmanuel? just like, if you were interested in thinking about that ok !! aaa i just !! i'm curious about your opinion

!! this is absolutely something that I want to think about!! 

you’re right, emmanuel would stay with very soft makeup - I would imagine he would stick to much more natural colours; browns, bronzes, golds, and maybe a little bit of green. I think that he’d keep things light and glowy - highlight on his cheekbones and the bridge of his nose (not the tip, because that would make it look bigger and off balance on his face), and if he were to use colour (green or yellow, I think, probably) it would be lightly applied and concentrated on the lid 

I can’t see him doing much to his face other than the highlight - I think contouring would be very intense for him, as it ‘carves out’ facial features, and I think he’d prefer to enhance or draw light to places on his face that he likes instead 

(side note, if I were doing his makeup, I'd keep his eyebrows very light and fluffy, just filling in a little at the front and softening the arch a little, but I don’t think emmanuel would bother touching his eyebrows, so) 

on his eyes, very natural colours, golds and browns, slightly shimmery - but never glitter, it gets everywhere and although I can see emmanuel trying it, I think he wouldn’t bother it after the first time because it’s such a hassle 

I also don’t think he’d do very much with his lips - if anything, just a standard clear gloss or chapstick!! 

anyway this went long I just love talking about makeup and!! you know I love emmanuel so!!

Old Souls

[ Closed for @handoffered ] Leviathan had grown weary from the city mayhem. His beloved lands of the North, they had become so different though the passing ages. The jotun demon would of course agree there are so many changes that had brought well to his beloved people, yet... deep in his heart, deep in his very entity and the marrow of his bones, Leviathan's yearning for what had been never ceased. He missed the heathen times, the pagan pride, hammers held high, drakarr flying in the raging storm with the voice of his enemy Thor thundering above, Mjölnir splitting fire from the clouds, the grin of a warrior meeting his death for he knew the Halls of Valhalla will greet him with honor, the cry of a raven, and the runes if wisdom carved into stones... He missed laughing with his people, eyes fiery, and their hearts beating as one, their blood turning into molten steel when they rode into battle... And the joy, the flowing mead... No matter how much his people may have walked forward, he will always stay ancient, as old as time. For no matter he may be known as Leviathan, a Prince of Hell, he will always remain Jörmungand, the Midgard Serpent, the Guardian of Yggdrasil and the Nine Realms. Form heart, he will always be a viking, and if they ever need their mysterious snake-eyed man again, the jotun demon will be there for them. The viking blood will never die. It was too strong. Leviathan was awokened from the depths of his musings by feeling of not being the only one in the forest, in the sunlight melting as if gold. There was another presence, a celestial one. "It seems we both are quite too old for the city lights at times, aren't we?.." a small, scandinavian smile appeared on his handsome face.
