So, when I got these little retro leather-bound notebooks... I did not know they had gel pens in the side. The pens are better quality than the ones I bought alone. I don't think I wanna bring such a nice pen to work, my nice pens get stolen. The ink also doesn't bleed through the pages! The novelty shop chocolate notebook has a bleeding problem. ^^;;

I visited my friend yesterday!! We went to stay where her little son stays (since he doesn't live with her at the nurse's dorm)! I stayed with them and her son has, in the course of two days, called me "ate," "nainai," and "ate friend," ffff. He doesn't know many words and substitutes any word he doesn't know with "hmm" or an onomatopeia ("the weyoo" = "the weewoo" = ambulance, fire truck, or possibly police car, "the meow" = cat... and so on ^^;;;) It's especially funny when there's multiple "the hmm"s in a single sentence.

I don't think he learned my name is Lamees, but he's very sweet!! He ADORES cars and any kind of vehicle. We went to the mall and he picked out a set of vehicles including a helicopter. The way he plays is soooo funny, because he loves to play dramatic, repetitive scenes, but he's waaaay more creative with his repeated dramas. I just had characters dying of illness while another character weeps at their death bed, and had the first character ascend to heaven (I imagined with a halo and wings, like in old cartoons, pfft)...

This kid, however, had cars crash, had cars try to go home before being derailed, had helicopters come to rescue them and either successfully pick up the fallen vehicles and save them ooooor the helicopter suddenly drops out of the air and they both crash. "You killed my car!" he'd say at the end every time. ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;

We went to a mall the second day, I won the kid a plush and tried to teach his mom how to play (non-rigged) crane games, we had Baik, aaaand there was a Miniso and I spent nearly as much money on that as I spent on clothes at MAX, WELP. Got mostly functional stuff like bags (my old lavender bag is starting to tear a little, but is still pretty functional!), water bottles, etc., but I also got for myself a nice little organizer for small objects... I genuinely did NOT think it would contain very much or make a big difference to how my vanity will look, but I was wrong?! It made a huge difference!!

I also got... another blind box that all looked cute (they're all pastel Sanrio characters on rocking horses ;3; ... very sweet and gentle... the secret design clearly looks to be Kuromi riding on Baku instead based on silhouette!), although I was secretly hoping for sleeping My Melody... and that's what I got! ^^ Even cuter, after sticking My Melody on (she has a little double-sided tape with her to help her stick on), I noticed that when the rocking horse is rocked, it genuinely makes creaking sounds, which I thought was amazing...! Very gentle and cute rocking motion...

They had Detective Conan blind boxes too, amazingly! But, DetCo is SUPER, SUPER popular in the Middle East, so, naturally, they were all out, which is a shame, I looked at them and thought it'd be so nice to have Haibara... although I'd also be happy with Ran... but they told me I can have the display piece, which makes it the second time I've gotten to have the literal last item in the store. So. I got both blind box toys I wanted in one go through sheer luck.

Her stand is Ran's, I think, she was the one having shaved ice, oops. But that's a cute in-between of both my choices, huh...?

(The day before was a massive ordeal and very, very, very bad work-wise and I had to make important phone calls to sort out issues that have taken a week or two to sort out, so, I'm glad things went so nicely yesterday.)

Having a peaceful day at home today, only got called about a small consultation about treating common cold symptoms by another doctor who I think she and/or possibly her kid is sick? Just wanted to know which medications to use for which symptoms.
