Commune for Christopher Farr Rug Collection
We’ve recently collaborated on a rug collection with our friends at Christopher Farr. Each rug references traditional textile patterns with a focus on inventive woven constructions. Handspun wools, silks, and jute are combined to create hand woven flat weaves, shags, hand knotted and tufted rugs. Unique kilim borders break up designs in unexpected areas, and graphic elements create overall textures that abstract traditional plaids and geometric patterns. These designs are only emphasized by Christopher Farr’s beautiful fibers, techniques, and rich history. The rugs feel at home whether in a mid century home, an urban loft, or in a historic estate.
