Hi gorgeous 7/13/21
I litterally have nothing to do in summer break i am so bored and so unmotivated. I have not journaled in like months. I miss being here with aesthetic and cute post but my life is boring and dry. Here is a photo of a cat i found online.
Crinkled pages, splattered and stained with age. Handwritten notes in pencil. Handwritten notes in fountain pen. Doodles. Suggestions. Advice. A girl in love with writing her name. Grease stains. Water marks. Tanned pages. Black and white photographs. Brown ink. Blue ink. Bent corners. A creaky spine. Underlines. Thick paper. Brown tape. A smell of wooden floors. A sound. Like snapping wind, as each page turns one into another. 🕰 These are some of the gorgeous hallmarks of this rare 1923 edition of a cookbook originally published in 1910. 🥘 Touched by countless cooks over the course of 100 years, this is one of a handful of very old recipe books coming to the shop that all bear handwritten marks and notations. Evidence of real-life readers and messy kitchen life lived long ago. 🥘 Of course each of these unique one-of-a-kind cookbooks offers a wealth of culinary history, packed full with unusual recipes and antiquated cooking equipment. But they also offer secondary stories too. Unexpected ones. Surprising ones. Every handwritten mark is like a little ghost spilling out into the room, toying with imaginations and peppering the reading experience with intrigue and mystery about what life was like back then, when… . . . . #fortheloveofbooks #oldbooks #antique #1900s #oldcookbooks #antiquecookbooks #splattered #old #timeworn #handwrittennotes #antiquebooks #cookbookstagram #booklover #agedtoperfection https://www.instagram.com/p/CQbqujhANVo/?utm_medium=tumblr
Entry for 27, April
Hey, guys. I decided that I will now be posting my daily goals, and how much I could complete. I got this idea at 7 in the morning. Since the day just started, I thought I could talk about what happend yesterday, so that I dont waste my motivation.
We yesterday go to know that our exams are satrung from 3rd May. Even though they are are just mock exams of 20 mark, the syallbus this time is quite a lot. Since there was nothing good that would happen if I just sat and whined about how length the syallbus was, so I decided to make notes of the chapters coming in my exam. And I decided to start with physics.
welcome back to me ✨
for the past few days that i was on a social media detox, i think i was at my most productive. like genuinely productive. maybe because i wasn't on my phone most of the time and i wasn't checking my timeline every now and then.
also i've been drinking milk a lot instead of coffee because it helps me calm down 😌
how are you guys doing? don't forget to take a break and focus on yourself 💫
