7th March

The academic year has begun fr now, just got all my books today and bro does that pile compare to my height (I am 5 10 btw). The overwhelming feeling I got after seeing the 3 volumes of rd Sharma really made second guess my love for math.

I have officially began maintaing notebooks with my own notes for subject today. One of my goals is to start reposting my notes on pinterest.

Ik it doesn't sound that hard but for some reason I am always hesitant about it. It's either I am not good at editing my notes or that my pics don't look good enough cause of the camera.

I hope I can get the motivation to just post more even it's not the perfectly edited high quality pics ever.

Ig that is really it for my academic rant.

The sky is just so pretty these days and I think it's turning me into a sky girlie cause like all I am clicking these days are sky pics.

And though they don't do justice to the actual beauty of it, they turn out better than my expectations.

4th March 2024

Today was my very first day of 12th grade and oh god how do i already have pending work left to be done <_>

I am still having a hard time comprehending that it's almost been a year since i shifted cities and came to my present school. The relativity concept of time never seems to amuse me cause istg in some aspects i feel like everything's passing by a blink of eye but at the same time I feel stuck at a place and time just doesn't let me overcome it.

Maybe this is just growing up but I have yet to crack the code to escape this cycle of wanting to grow up while still staying exactly where I am (crazy right?)

Amongst all this cloudiness in my vision and thought process, some highlights could be

Me considering tutoring kids for some cash and job experience

Interest in photography and editing

Reconsidering posting notes on insta and pinterest

I guess that is it for today, btw all the pics above are clicked by me, would really appreciate some feedback :)

Notes to self:

It's OK to take a break now and then.

It isn't too late to study. 1 hour is better than 0.

Wear comfortable clothing before going to the exam hall.

Clear your mind and focus on the question. A non musical mantra sometimes helps.

Instincts and gut feelings are more reliable than random chance.

Do not fall into the gamblers' fallacy. Previous questions usually don't affect the result of the one you are looking at.

Use your motivation well, don't let the moment slip away.

Personal matters and relationships aren't a problem to be solved. It might sometimes be better to be emotional than rational in these.

Try to avoid panicking over things that you don't have control over.

Humour is often a better tool than seriousness. Especially if the target isn't an authority figure

Is it just me or does anyone else just fall into patterns?

For some reason, continue the same patterns of behavior over and over again. It's somehow the same with emotions too, same friends, same interests, same games.

I want to add some variety but one way or another, I return to my habits.

It's not that bad, but I still think that it's a little weird.

Falling into patterns is something i particularly struggle with too. I try to force myself out of them by changing my methods or my routines but that require a conscious effort which when is stopped you just find yourself at the same place again.

So what helps me with this is that instead of forcing myself out of them, if i gradually come out of them by providing myself alternatives to those patterns. it works a lot better.

okay so no matter how much i think i will be regular in posting here i just cant keep the consistency so i am going to treat this blog as a digital diary that i can look back on. This way i will feel less pressured to post here and i might just end up being better with posting than i am right now.

1st march 2024

Can't believe i got my result of 11th today.

This seems more serious than the actual start of the new year for me. its like the final wake up call after the constant snoozes i have been pressing ever since my 17th birthday. My 12th grade aka my senior year aka my last school year will begin from Monday and no matter how i see it, time just seems to be traveling a little too fast for my good.

Not saying that i am not excited to graduate and step into a bigger world than just my house and school but it just seems to scary and foreign. Weather it be figuring out my future or unseriousness towards my life, i just don't know how to deal with it. This constant thinking and contemplating only leaves with anxiety and never an answer.

I really hope that this time next year i have a better idea of what and who i want to be and have a little more excitement than fear of adulthood,

i guess this will be it for my rant for today <_> <3

Having my most favourite ice cream in the world while solving a brutal math assignment.

I went to school after a break of 4 days today and yet it was so exhausting. I miss my old school which literally felt safer than home.

I rediscovered the rare album today and realised just how underrated it is. Literally every song on it soo good.

It's days like these that confirm that I am not at all a morning person.

I slept for almost 12 hours last night and yet if not for this coffee, I would probably end up napping for another 2.

BTW, I couldn't really study last night (what a shocker it is 🙄 )

So now I have to sit and compete my work. Wish me luck and I really hope I can stay more focused than I was last night.

Kind of in a dilemma, I just got these 2 books but I also have some math problems to solve.

Started my day at 9 today cause of my tution I had. I nearly did not get enough sleep and even a 20 min walk to my tution wasn't enough to shake the sleepiness out of me.

Came home and immediately made my coffee for human functioning again. (Wish I took a pic if it)

Now, having my first meal of the day- HOMEMADE BURGERS. I swear there is nothing better than this.

I am feeling a little overwhelmed today so decided to finish the song I was learning on piano.
