Summary:

Connor is right-hand android to the most influential mafia boss in town: Hank Anderson. They work well together, and while Connor doesn't remember what happened before he crawled out of the junkyard to Hank, it was only ever a niggle at his ego in the dead of night while Hank was asleep. Or so he thought. Then Nines was dropped at their feet. Now somebody is hunting him, and by extension Hank, because of a past Connor can't remember.

When Hank, Connor and Nines find a badly beaten Gavin hiding in the station car-lot, they know that they can't just leave him there. Unable to go home to an abusive brother, Gavin reluctantly accepts the hospitality of the trio and starts to build a plan that will allow him to cut ties to his abuser forever. But he'll need the support of his colleagues and friends.

As the detective slowly accepts their help and learns to trust, the trio can't help but feel like there may be room for one more in their romantic lives. Especially when Connor and Nines find out about Hank and Gavin's past encounters...
