Perchance we meet | Hildegund & Sif
Sif walked calmly to Volstagg's house, but she wasn't here to see Volstagg. A few children tore out the front door past her and down the street. She smiled as she stepped out of the way. Their laughter rang out as they took off chasing each other. She called out through the still open door. "Hello? Hildegund? Are you home?" She heard a commotion coming from within the house and Flosi came and greeted her at the door. She smiled down at the young girl. "Hello my dear. Are you still fighting with the boys." Flosi grinned at her. "Yes Sif." Sif smiled. "Are you still winning." "Yes Sif." "And are you going to keep fighting with them?" Flosi's grin grew wider. "Yes Sif." Sif grinned and mussed the girl's hair. "Good girl. Soon you'll be challenging me on the battlefield." She winked at the young girl. Flosi smiled back at her. "Mother's just back here - do you want to follow me?" Sif nodded. "Please lead the way."
Sif followed the young warrior-in-training to the back room where Hildegund was. She smiled as she entered the room and saw Hilde. "Hello Hildegund, how are you doing today?" She bowed slightly in greeting. "I see your children are busy terrorizing the neighbourhood." She let out a slight laugh. "It has been far too long. I thought I was long overdo for a visit. Tell me you are well and that you have time to sit with an old friend." She smiled warmly at Hilde.
