quick oc question because I was curious, does sung-min have a love interest or any particular friendships with any of the characters? if so, how did they come about?

Hello my sweet anon! I’m doing fairly okay. I hope the same can be said for yourself.

Does Sung-min have any love interests? Good question. I’m not fully quite up to date on all of the Lookism oc’s love interests which is one reason why I can’t give you a definite answer. Another would be I’m not fully sure the type of person they would date. However, if I had to give an answer then it would be that I’m currently deciding who to pick and I’m always open to suggestions if you think someone would make a good match with them.

Friendships is a good question to. They are somewhat close to Yujin as they are associated with Workers, however, he would be considered more of an acquaintance if anything. @jkbubbs and I were joking one day that Yue and Sung-min once ran into each other on the street, recognized the other was genderfluid, nodded to acknowledge it, then went on with their day. It’s just a funny joke between the two of us as nothing is set in stone yet. So, if you want your oc to be friends, enemies, or even lovers dm me because I’m always interested.

I will say though I don’t see him liking Goo or Vin jin because I feel like they would be too loud for him.

General Description: Sung-min is a person with a relatively slim but muscular build. They can always been seen wearing their glasses and school uniform. Very rarely do they wear Street clothes due to having no sense of style. If they happen to not be in their school uniform, then they are probably wearing a grey button up shirt with black pants/skirt and plain black shoes. They don’t usually wear brighter colors as to not attract unwanted attention.

Main Personality Traits: Very neat, reserved, conceited, lazy, can be selfish, analytical, negative

↳Summary/Background: A few years before Sung-min was born, his mother met his father. He was foreigner there because of the military (I’m telling you don’t date military men) and they almost immediately fell in love. She quickly got pregnant and followed him back to his home country where they were married. Soon after Sung-min was born, things went downhill and fast. Luckily, they were able to flee back to Korea, however, they had nothing. The only money they could manage to gather was just enough for plane tickets back. Their grandparents “allow” the small family to live with them as long as they pretty much fend for themselves. Their mother works tirelessly to send them to a good school so that they have a chance to make something of themselves since she believes that she blew her chance. Because of this, this leads them to living out a lie of being part of a wealthy family. During this whole time, their mother was pregnant with her daughter, Na-ri. Unfortunately, she has a condition that can be treated but needing treatments each month adds up. As their grandparents are unwilling to help and their mother is already working herself ragged, Sung-min took it upon themself to earn the money by picking up a side hustle. Needless to say, though their family still struggles, Na-ri has began her medical treatments.

Introverted/Extroverted: They are pretty introverted. Why would they want to go out and party when they can have just as much fun at home alone?

Temper Management: Their temper is about as short as they are. Even though they are somewhat patient, they are not a saint. However, once they’re pissed off good luck because they will be dead set to ruin the day of whoever they need to just to let off steam.

Intelligence: Fairly intelligent, maybe slightly above average, but their grades are just meh as they doesn't put a lot of time into school.

Self-perception: They are a little bit conceited if not arrogant. Truthfully, they know that they don’t have the best head start in life and with their sister sick they find themselves living more in than moment than worrying about the long term future of themselves.

Fears: They are afraid that their sister will die before her treatments can be finished. They also can’t swim so water scares them as well as sharks.
