Day 2185, 16 June 2024
You have to know it's there to find it, the grave of Pilot Officer Francis Cale RAF, killed in action on August 15th 1940, one of The Few. The Battle of Britain took place between July and October 1940, the first major battle fought entirely in the air. His Spitfire was shot down and he managed to bail out but his body was found in the River Medway the next day. He was Australian, born at Milford Junction, Perth, Western Australia, and had been married for about a month. City of Westminster Cemetery, Uxbridge Road, Hanwell, London Borough of Ealing, London, UK, August 2022. #lestweforget #RAF #Australia #BattleofBritain #Hanwell #LondonBoroughofEaling #UK #August2022 #suburbs #suburban #suburbia #photography

“Let go, there is nothing more to hide.”
To avoid minor auto body damage, be cautious of where you park your car. Try parking in the back row and in a corner if possible. This reduces the chances of door dings, shopping cart scratches and more.
🔮 Sex magic?
In all honesty, Hanwell doesn’t place too much emphasis on the use of magic when it comes to his lovemaking, the nature of which tends to be fairly straightforward and rudimentary in approach (perhaps a symptom of uncomplicated and rather provincial upbringings).
Well before becoming acquainted with any type of magical practices, Hanwell as a youth growing up in Lakeshire relied on what allures he had at his disposal (locks of black hair shifting easily about already broadened shoulders, those same locks falling lazily across eyes dark with intent and a grin wholly too wolfish for his age). Becoming accommodated to such wiles during his formative years the adult mage Hanwell never quite felt the need to incorporate his magical skillset into this part of his life.
That’s not to say he doesn’t use magic to a logistical advantage, though - a girl entertained at a tavern one evening might find herself entirely tempted to see for herself a particularly well received essay of his on the finer points of abjuration magic, or perhaps even let herself be regaled with a serenade or two plaintively plucked on either the lute or high harp he keeps in his room for one such an occasion. In such cases a portal may be conjured to remedy any pesky second thoughts said young lady might experience when given such an invitation - the portal is open right there, after all!
I then headed to Hanwell, which was a cute old-fashioned station, although undergoing refurbishment.
