Tbh, McCree's real name being Joel would've had a logical explanation, considering the fact that Sombra, the one who calls him that ingame, can dig up any info on anybody, and would've totally called him by his real name in a fight as a taunt. Idk about the surname but I don't really like how Cole sounds.

(And if you wanna save his original name.... well.... I mean..... Shimada sounds pretty good. Or, you know, Gabriel could sign some adoption papers :))

I just had a dream where I was playing on kings row and we were on defense but I was trying to get into the enemy spawn point because that was apparently my house and I wanted a cup of water but the enemy hanzo kept sniping me.
