On 2/28/18 my little one was on Hawaiian 🌺 time. Already a week past our due date, my doctor’s team checked my amniotic fluid and discovered there wasn’t any left 😳. My belly jiggled 🤰🏽as my nervous laugh was heard all the way in the waiting room. The bittersweet moment I had been waiting for was about to arrive. I was told to check-in at labor and delivery 📦 down the walkway to begin the induction process. Do I walk or do I drive? Fortunately my hospital bag and the car seat 💺 were already in my car. I was prepared. With paperwork in hand, I walked past security and pushed the button to enter the labor and delivery unit. I wasn’t sure what to expect. The thoughts 💭 in my head were moving quickly. But I knew I was there to do a job. I sent text messages to my girlfriends and brothers letting them know it was time. This was the beginning of a long but far from dull ordeal... 📸 Jodie M. #hapai #Labor #Delivery #MuseumDay #Memories #Pregnancy #mother #Sacramento #friends #MyTruth #MyLove #MyStory (at Crocker Art Museum) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bud0CByBk6q/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1vsdx7f1w5ehd
