Day 5 workout on day 6: This was not pretty. I’m just a woman, a mom, working towards improving my overall health and fit into some cute clothes again. Shortcuts exist but I’m not willing to go that route. Yesterday I woke up too late and missed day 5. Today’s workout 🏋🏽♀️ included more strength training. Squat press, bent over rows, liberty 🗽lunges, an Irish ☘️ jig, L-raises, mountain 🏔 climbers, and an elbow plank all at 60 second intervals and 30 seconds of rest in between. I wasn’t nearly as focused today as I was earlier this week. I’ve got a long way to go. I ended yesterday mildly sore from the day 1 workout 🏋🏽♀️. This morning I was even more stiff but bounced back in action. Day 2 was all about cardio! Burpees, jumping jacks, x-squats, pogo hops, side squat shuffles, star plank jump outs, and modified step-ups because I don’t trust my dining room chairs 🪑😅. I asked my son if he wanted to exercise with me and he dragged the chair 🪑 over because he remembered my workout from the day before. So cute. I’m sick of being inactive and I thought joining this challenge would be a fun way for me to move my body again. I started a day late so today is my day 1. I had to break up my 300 squats throughout the day. I’ll be honest, I still have 140 more squats to go but my knees and okole are already aching.
