This week I facilitated a button making activity for Happenings 9 at Arts Commons. It was my first art-related activity (aside from the Artist Residency in Motherhood which will continue until September, with a possible extension) since my daughter was born 5 months ago. My partner and our daughter even came to visit my table at the event! It was a relatively small gig but I was encouraged to be working (outside the home, especially) again.
