dr. cybil vasquez, a counselor, psychotherapist, and field tester for rookie and veteran superheroes, who is typically dressed in more mundane outfits and longer skirts to hide away her tail, thinking that it looks “unprofessional”. she has feline features due to an occurrence in her early twenties that affected her genetic makeup permanently and has also given her more cat-like personality traits and habits. after the change, she promoted herself as a B-grade hero that briefly scaled up to A-grade until a traumatic event caused her to “hang up the cape” and move on with returning to get her degrees.

“mr. mistoffelees”, as he’s nicknamed by vasquez, is the doctor’s animal companion who abuses his title as a therapy animal to get petting and affection from clients. he is a smoke black norwegian forest cat who is too clever for his own good - oftentimes impeccably so, to the point where something seems.. off.. about the feline.
