It’s my birthday

How I wish I could see my buds today, but I’m trying to be a good citizen. I remember back in May, I just knew by my birthday, the rona would quit and I would be able to see a movie and eat out comfortably smh. My mom has been a great day planner though so long as I get fed, I’m happy.

Didn't you think you were just gonna meet someone, fall in love, and that'd be it??

For the most part that’s little more than a pipe dream. Because people don’t just meet and then fall in love, just like that.

And yet, here we are. Ten years later. Still here for the love story that has continued to captivate millions and waged on, defying every odd, all semblance of rationality. For the kind of love that is like a supernova, magnificent and electrifying, everyone craves it, and yet none of us will ever experience love of that magnitude. I’ve always thought the love Harry and Louis have for each other is otherworldly. I have never seen anything like it, never seen two people so clearly attuned to each other, two people who were so evidently going to be brought together by some unidentifiable cosmic force that would mean they would always end up together. Always soulmates. They had an expedited love story that literally no one else ever experiences. Soon after they met, it was obvious that was it. It was always supposed to be Harry and Louis. It’s funny, isn’t it? Any other time I’d say two people of that age would never make it. Because they wouldn’t. And yet, I have never had a single doubt in my mind that they wouldn’t make it.

Anyway. Here’s to Haz and Lou. May they reign victorious and conquer the world with the same impetuous lack of inhibition with which they love one another, may they be recklessly at liberty to show the whole world the unadulterated magnificence of their love that knows no bounds, love that is of cosmic proportions, love that has been absurdly tenacious in spite of all the odds not being in their favour, love that has always been inexplicably sonorous and profound, love that is bulletproof, unstoppable, everlasting. Happy ten years to my dads!! I will always be on your sides.
