happybraindeath replied to your post “tbf a ship where a female character gets burdened with making a guy...”
I love how people forget that Starscream literally tortured Bumblebee at one point
Yeah don’t get me wrong, I ship the ever-loving hell out of starbee, it’s one of my biggest OTPs, but people who support starbee and then turn around and shit on windscream shippers for shipping something problematic are hypocrites of the highest calibre. Virtually every Starscream ship is problematic, but boy are they fun as all hell.
I love your human Stunticons, and I love that Dead End looks like he has Nick Cave hair
Thank you, and good eye! Dead End’s definitely got his early Bad Seeds on.
That Starjack piece you did was gorgeous. I loved the way that you drew Wheeljack, with the facial scars, the way he was gripping the sheets, everything about it was just. Gorgeous.
ahhhh thank u!!!
i loved drawing it, tbh!! Starjack is one of my fav ships-- just hits me square in my soft tender places. And honestly?? I can’t imagine wheeljack any other way than with hella mouth scars.
thank u!!!!!
Yes, older veteran magical girls that mentor the new ones! Some are encouraging and enthusiastic, but a few are bitter and jaded, because they've made mistakes and lost comrades/lost their bond to their respective mecha. Also, a cool, edgy lone wolf magical girl that shows up mysteriously with a super powerful mecha every now and then who needs to learn the value of teamwork and the power of friendship.
Everybody wonders why this mysterious “Cadmus” figure keeps showing up to help them- they’re kind of playful and friendly but they’re serious when it counts and have incredible abilities and don’t seem to be entirely human by any means, nor really Cybertronian.
Things only grow more mysterious when Cadmus, who typically refuses to fight for them, instead training and assisting them from behind the scenes, intervenes in a catastrophic battle with Megatron, and to everyone’s astonishment, when Cadmus places herself between Megatron and Orion- Megatron pulls the shot rather than destroy her!
What does this mean for Team Prime? Tune in next week to find out!
TRANSFORM TO DEFEND! *theme leimotif plays*
In the TF shoujo 'verse, are the mecha pre-existing identities that bond with humans? Do the magical girls use the TF's spark crystals to transform? Do you think they would attatch them to transformation wands or to pieces of jewelry? If the crystal was damaged, do you think that would also hurt the one they're bonded to as well? Sorry, this is a lot of questions, but like, magical girls and robots are like my two favorite things and this is such a good concept.
I ACTUALLY WAS THINKING ABOUT THIS okay so the Autobots and Decepticons already exist, and were at war, but they’re either trapped in the Shadow Zone somehow or kept in stasis when not active, but the magical girls use small trinkets imbued with their energy to maintain contact with them and to summon their armor (which gives them cybertronian armor and features to fight with) or to summon the bots themselves for a time.
I don’t know for sure exactly how it all works and I’m super welcome for suggestions, I like the idea that the crystals they use to summon them might be physically connected to the point where stealing a crystal or damaging it may have effects on the bot or the girl.
I’ll try to sketch some of them in their MAGICAL GIRL TRANSFORMATION POWER ARMOR later after I’m done with some tasks but so far pretty much all I know is that Orion is the first one to accidentally summon an Autobot because she finds the Matrix Crystal (or whatever it is idk) and Optimus is accidentally “woken up” because he hears the name Orion while her friends are calling to her and WHOOPS YOU SUMMONED A ROBOT TIME TO F I G H T
Like, the very basic of Kiss Players could have been fine. Magical girls with giant robot companions that they give a kiss to give them power ups. Thats not the weirdest plot to a magical girl comic ever. It could have been a silly but cute tf comic aimed at girls. But no. They had to aim it at grown ass dudes and make it GROSS.
Exactly! Like, holy shit, I would shell out $5 a month for cute magical girl cybertronian teamups, complete with transformation sequences and ridiculous premesis and evil teams! I’d give Optimus Prime a lil peck on the faceplates, even without giving him superpowers.
But NOPE had to be in that weird fetish niche.
God where is my Transformers Shojou comic. Can that be a thing?
I would read the shit out of that.
If I remember correctly, in All Hail Megatron Skywarp says something about him and Thundercracker looking the way they do as an homage to their commander Starscream after Bombshell makes a dig about them all looking the same. And the way he says it kind of feels like it might be a bit of a touchy subject. Its been a little while though, so I might be remembering that wrong, I'm pretty sure thats what is said though.
I did some theorising a while back based around Bombshell’s comment in AHM, although it was just pointed out to me that the Seekers weren’t identical looking when they first joined the Decepticons, which weakens my theory, but they did look quite similar, so it’s still a possibility.
