Harbor Beach, Michigan Airport Postcard
Hi all! Enjoying Wagener County RV Park in Harbor Beach, Michigan on Lake Huron. It’s a beautiful spot. We have a great view of the Lake and more importantly it is 75 degrees with a breeze! So nice, exactly what we have been searching for.
Swimming in the Lake here isn’t the best. The bottom is very rocky and hard on the feet. The worst part is the silt on bottom. It is so light that when you walk you kick it up and the water gets very cloudy. We heard from a local that the silt is from all the cargo barge traffic on the lake. Anyway, enjoying our time here very much. Collecting some cool rocks and driftwood. Got some good pictures today. Take a look.
Tomorrow we will head North once again. We are taking our time and following the east coast along Lake Huron for a few days before we cross the Mackinaw Bridge into the Upper Peninsula.

The briefest of sunshine on the California coast. I am reminded of the time my dad and I were in Phoenix and there was an storm that dropped an inch of hail. All the locals swore that this weather was an anomaly. Just like they are saying it is never rainy in SoCal. The weather hasn’t been ideal, but we are finding our moments and it is still good to be at the beach.
