Did I not tell you about the seals? Over the course of several weeks a group of about fifty seals were hauled out in various places in the arm just upstream from City Dock. An out-of-towner talks me about it on 1 August, and the bird watching couple told me on 2 August. They weren't there at low tide, as a sandbar would block their escape route, so I kept missing them. There is much closer video by a local attorney late of Michigan on Vimeo from 14 July, 2021.
