Reunited - year of the snake
I'm thinking of going back to DST...
The End Is Nigh
Yeah, the end is nigh is the hardest videogame I have beated in my entire life
Well, how I am suppose to talk about this game without talking about how extremely hard this fucking game is?
The end is nigh is one of the last games that Edmund Mcmillen made, completing the trilogy of Edmund's videogames, this is personally, my favourite of the three, and I will always recommend it, but wait, don't buy it before I tell you about how fucking hard is this diabolic 2D platformer videogame.
I played hard videogames as a child, if I'm not wrong, the first hard videogame I played was The Battle Cats (a mobile videogame that I recommend too much), and the first time I played a videogame was when I was 3 years old, and that videogame was the classic Super Mario Bros.
As you can see, my favourite type of videogames are platformers, exactly 2D platformers, I played too many 2D platformers, too many super Mario Bros 2D games, Kirby star allies and a little of Kirby triple deluxe, Rayman Origins and Legends, super meat boy... Etc.
I'm saying all this because you can make an idea about how good I'm at videogames and at the same time an idea about how hard is this game.
Well, just beating this game made me cry, it was just two tears, but it made me cry, just beating 14 worlds made of 20 one screen levels (there are 3 worlds with only 15 levels) took me like 9 hours and 3000 deaths in total, and I repeat, JUST THAT 💀🙏
But if you want to get the 100% or the platinum... Make sure to be prepared mentally for this challenge because is semi-imposible.
To make you an idea, only one of the three hardest things of the game made me cry 3 times in two days, but this time wasn't only two tears, no, this time was crying too much every single time, and I repeat, ONLY ONE OF THE THREE HARDEST CHALLENGES IN THE GAME 💀🙏
If you want to see about the real difficulty of the game, I recommend you to search a video of someone getting the platinum of this game, because is just crazy.
And no, by the moment I still don't have the 100% of this game, but well, that's all :)
The end is nigh videogame belongs to Edmund Mcmillen and Tyler Glaiel

Pararena (Classic Mac, Soft Dorothy Software/john calhoun, 1990)
You can play it in your browser here. (IMPORTANT: Sounds will not play unless you first go to Control Panel in the Apple menu in the upper left and set the volume to greater than 0. 1 is plenty loud.)
You can download version 2.0, for use in Infinite Mac, here or here.
A recent video about it:
oh nooo buddy dropped their blue fruit! I may not be a good gamer that Rain world needs me to be but it has been fun regardless. so pretty too!
Hey.
You like creepy monsters? You like co-op survival? You like wave-based defense? You like scavenging for supplies in games? You like challenging games? You like crushing the heads of enemies, chopping their arms off, or even outright splitting them in two? Do you like ROBLOX? If you said yes to at least a few of those, then as long as your Roblox account's at least a couple months old, I think you might enjoy... Decaying Winter. https://www.roblox.com/games/7551121821/Decaying-Winter Please note: this is legitimately a hard game. Don't expect to win every run. Death is inevitable, but you'll respawn. Without any of your stuff you had on you when you died. If teammates didn't go out and bring your stuff back to base before the storm hit, it's gone. Good luck out there. Oh, and here's a link to the official Trello for the game. It should help a good bit. https://trello.com/b/omyndDi3/decaying-winter-official-trello
Just a shower thought. Just to be clear, I don’t think elden ring or any other souls like game need a difficult selection. However I do think about it. Let’s say the developer for some reason made the game easier. How will it be implemented? My 2 cent thoughts about this is this. There are two mode. Light mode and dark mode. Light mode is the easier play through and dark mode is the Original and how the game suppose to play. In light mode, your character is maxed level. The player will not able to level up but will not have anything to lose. With that, the player got almost a guaranteed one shot to any enemies including most bosses. If they kill enemies, they will not received a single soul even if there’s Allie’s are involved. If they get hit, they only received one point of damage. Only thing is when player come in, both parties can’t kill each other. In pvp, The player can not inflict damage each other. Only staggered and certain ailments. On equipment, they are only wear one generic armor. They can use any weapon. If they want to wear other armor, they must play it on dark mode. They are locked out on the real ending or true ending to the game In light mode. The premise here is that the player doesn’t get a much of a reward getting through the game in light mode without putting a effort playing what the game meant to be played as. It is my 2 cent and it may sounds ridiculous but it’s one way it might be good to make players to play harder and challenging games if there’s a good sense of rewarding system.
