So it's a tiny, personal gripe but... I'm kind of tired to dystopian scenarios in video games.

Specifically games about building, building empires, building factories. It's all "Haha this is a dystopian, cyberpunk corpo-ruled universe and you are a cog in the machine, haha, have fun being an evil industrialist."

And I just... I'd love to play a game where you are building but with a positive spin. Your space empire is not an evil dystopian hellhole. The factory you are building will benefit humanity and galaxy in general.

Just a bit of optimism like in old sci-fi is what I'm saying.

I kind of miss the optimistic Commie Sci-Fi I was reading as a kid...

Tried to think of some game where it's not the case and honestly I didn't really come up with anything.

The closest would likely be Alien Nations. There is conflict but it's generally light hearted game about 3 silly races sharing one planet.

Less about construction and more about farming there's always Harvest Moon series which might have degraded over the years but there's no dystopian corpo hell invading on your countryside life like in SV.
