In the seven years I have been playing MCL I have realised there is very little I wouldn’t do or tolerate in my gameplay.
For example, I created a Candy just to pick all the bitchy options, like breaking up Rosa and Leigh, standing the LI up during the run or at the beach to flirt with Dake.
In the years I ended up getting with ALL the LIs (and if Dake and Evan were available in the end I would pick them too).
I didn’t care at all about the miscarriage, I was actually pretty satisfied when it happened because the pregnancy trope is something that I really dislike (and sorry for not caring about a non-existent baby in a game, it’s personal, everyone is different).
I enjoyed a lot the threesome dream and if a poly route was available I would play it in a heartbeat. I would even go for the ONS in all the routes if it was well written. Etc. Etc.
Hell, if there was the option of making Candy a ninja assassin I would take it instantly.
All this to say, that there is very little that I wouldn’t do in my game.
I have one hard limit that I am not able to include in any of my gameplays. I didn’t even try, I can’t fathom it at all.
If Candy’s ex is around I can’t make her go for someone else. I just can’t.
Meaning that, for example, if my Candy’s ex is Castiel, she has to go for Castiel in UL. Same thing for Nathaniel.
And if the old boys ever come back I can’t use new Candys to play their route, I must use my old Candys so that they can get back with their boyfriends, and use new Candys for the UL LIs.
This is partly because I really love second chance romances, and the fact that Beemoov is so shitty in acknowledging past relationships is probably the thing I hate the most about their writing. To this day it really doesn’t matter if you’re not going for your ex because they don’t acknowledge it at all. They hardly seem to remember you were together in HS. In Nath’s route is even worse than Castiel (but they are both really badly written).
This story had the potential of being great and it’s not because they can’t be bothered to add a few extra sentences and scenarios where it matters. Shame on you Beemoov.
And since this is GoT season:
