Lessons From Cory
Cory swore off the needle,
did his best for a while
to keep his beasts at bay,
but @ thirty years old he gave in one more time,
and death quickly came to snatch him away
If you play in a viper pit,
can't be surprised when you get bit
Best not to test it, and on that,
that's all I have to say

The warehouse was full of new inductees for once, it had been a slow grind ever since the new leadership took power, and actions were beginning to be taken to ensure the White Fang was not perceived as weak, the vast majority were also foreign, immigrants from Vacuo, including a pair of brothers. The warehouse was packed, leaving no space other than where the leader would show himself.
“Heh, c’mon, I ain’t got all day.” The seemingly older and tough brother said, he had a fur jacket on with jeans, seeming to be folding his arms as his tiger tail swung back and forth. He was eager to serve, and definitely wanting to get his feet wet with blood. The older brother was definitely a force to be reckoned with, there was some space between the brothers and inductees because of the scent of him, he smelled of death and gunpowder as if he were a moving battlefield.
“Brother…you should be patient with these,” The younger brother insisted as he wore a brown jacket with a blue jumpsuit, along with a red scarf and a signature cowboy hat as he held the sheathe of his sword while looking at him. “It is not common.”
“Common or not, I want to bash some skulls in, brother, I didn’t take this trip to go smell daisies and roses with you.” He growled as he drew impatient before finally the leader of the White Fang showed up. He donned the iconic White Fang mask, seeming to have two horns pop up from his head while wearing a black outfit with red markings and a sword sheathe.
“Welcome.” He simply stated as he went over the values of the White Fang, the wrongs of humanity, and such and such. The oldest brother grinned and clapped along with the rest, except for the youngest one, who relented and just leaned against the wall.
“Mars, I’m going to introduce myself to the leader, go do something productive.” The older brother sneered as he went off while Mars was left by himself as he looked around.
“It’s different than Vacuo, that’s for sure.” Mars said as he noticed all these diverse faunus gathered in one place, he noticed that the leader, Adam, was out talking to them, he assumed just making sure they were properly brain washed with the same thing as what he outlined in his speech. He tipped his hat as he tried not to look so out of the crowd.
My name is Christine, and I get food stamps. I've had to apply off and on over the past 16 years in order to make sure my family was fed. I don't feel the least bit ashamed of myself for this, but apparently some people think I should. Some people think I, and people like me, am lazy. via Aunty's Pocket
