“Husband.”
It was the only way she would catch up to her husband, forcing him to stop. She linked her arm with his once at his side and began to walk again. The clatter of the servants cleaning from the morning feast echoed behind them from the hall. She kept one arm linked with his, she placed her other hand on her ever growing belly.
“As you know, I am permitted a short walk daily, would you like to join me?” She asked, raising a brow. The princess already had an idea of what her husband’s answer would be, but it was polite to ask. The midwife had permitted this daily exercise to keep the princess healthy, but not over exerting herself. Although she had months of her pregnancy to go she was being watched carefully.

I love that Rollo is this big hulking berserker who has shown his strength countless times and yet he lets his princess wife push him enough to almost knock him over with a kiss, and force him to roll over onto his back in bed.
She’s very physical with him and he just lets her. It’s adorable.
Gisla had been venturing to this part of the palace more and more recently. It started one curious day,very early on. She merely walked past it while peeking through the arches of the corridor. It wasn’t until a few short months ago that she stepped foot in it. The mud squished beneath her slippers that she was forced to throw out after.
Since that time she had acquired a more sturdy pair of boots to wear for these visits. She had learned not to wear a long cloak. She typically pulled her hair back out of her eyes. The training yard was an entirely new place for Gisla, but she was making herself more familiar.
Count Odo had already suggested that she make her visits scarce. She distracted the soldiers, he claimed. It was no place for a princess, he insisted. Gisla informed him that should her husband wish her gone she would respect and obey him. Count Odo was not her husband.
She had approached the yard from the second story, looking out from a balcony to the soldiers training below. It was easy to spot her husband. Whether he wore armor or not even a shirt, a helm or his hair tied back; Gisla could spot her husband from a sea of Franks. She smiled a little, watching as one by one soldiers attacked and were quickly subdued by her husband. He was a wonder.

who would be the one to randomly adopt a puppy without consultation - Rollo, definitely Rollo.
who would force the other to take aesthetic pictures of them - I feel like Rollo would do it as a joke...Gisla might do it seriously.
who would do stuff they think is stupid just to make the other one happy - ROLLO
who picks out the horror movies to watch just so the other will cling to them - the pattern continues with Rollo, but it typically backfires - Gisla doesn’t get scared she just gets disgusted and annoyed by the people making stupid choices.
who is constantly studying and who is constantly trying to distract them - Gisla the perfectionist bookworm studies while Rollo attempts to get out of it ala Jess in Gilmore Girls.
who initiates the facetime calls whenever they’re separated - Gisla to see with her own eyes if Rollo’s been in a fight recently, Rollo cause he likes seeing her face.
who is more likely to storm out after a fight and who is more likely to cry when they do - I think they both have a habit of storming away from problems, Gisla would probably cry after. Rollo would probably break something.
who stays up way too late binge-watching their favorite shows - I could see both doing it for the right show.
who bites the other’s ear when they’re feeling frisky - Rollo, Gisla would do it teasingly.
who sprays the other with water when they’re washing the car - both, normally Rollo tho cause Gisla sits off to the side readin while he does it.
who has more fun decorating the house during holidays - Gisla does mainly to annoy Rollo.
who is more likely to give the silent treatment when they’re mad at the other - GISLA
who plays with the others’ hair more - they both do it cause honestly their hair is both awesome.
who is more likely to climb all over the other one when they’re bored - Gisla climbs over Rollo cause she’s small enough to do it. Rollo just flops on her when he wants attention.
who tries to kiss the other as often as they can - Rollo, unless Gisla’s in a mood.
who pouts when the other one tells them to shut the fuck up - Rollo pouts, Gisla glares.
who initiates the sex and who walks away when the other is riled up - Both initiates, and Gisla would be more likely to walk away just to annoy him (he’d probably run after her tho)
who always forgets the umbrella and who holds it when they actually have one - Rollo forgets, but he always has to hold it cause height.
who demands showering first in the mornings - Gisla, but she gets up first anyways.
who sneaks into the shower with the other one in the mornings - Rollo sneaks in when he wakes up in time.
who prefers riding the roller coasters and who prefers playing the games - Rollo drags Gisla to the rides, Gisla drags Rollo to the games to win her stuff.
who will text the other one thirty times in a row until they respond - Both for certain stuff; Gisla’s really impatient when she’s asked him something. Rollo just likes bugging her.
who always forgets to charge their phone overnight - Rollo, Gisla remembers and plugs his phone up for him.
who comes up behind the other and slide their hands into their back pockets - Both would do it, Rollo probably more. Gisla when she wants something.
who tries to get hugs from the other as often as they can - They give hugs whenever they feel like it; they don’t wait to get them.
who is louder and who constantly has the tell the other to be quiet - We have documented evidence that both can be loud as hell; but I feel like Gisla’s better at controlling it when she wants to. She probably has to tell him to stop groaning like a wild bear for the whole palace to hear.
