finds: what kind of item would you most likely buy from an antique store?
Goodness. I have no idea, really. Depends on what's *in* the antique store. A chalice, I would think. Maybe I'm an old romantic, I don't know, but the very word "chalice" is beautiful, not to mention the idea of drinking from an ancient cup molded to the hand and studded with patterns.
When I was younger, my grandfather had this set of two wooden cups. They weren't chalices and they weren't fancy. They were two cups, made of wood, and varnished, and they were seriously the best cups in the world to drink out of. I have never seen their like since. If I were ever to find that sort of thing, I would spend whatever it took to have them. That would be my ultimate treasure.
Maybe clothes? I find I like the idea of olden clothes, no matter the period.
home: in what type of environment do you feel most safe?
The answer is in the question, really. ;p
I am a homebody, pure and simple, an introvert through and through. As much as I like going out and seeing friends and being part of things, going to school and even treating clients, I thrive most of all in my own house. I very rarely, if at all, feel comfortable in other people's houses.
But my house? I adore it. It's my space, I share it with my children and it's the most comfy thing in my life.
Sometimes I neglect the poor thing and don't clean up as well as I should, but if I didn't have my home, I don't know what I would do with myself.
