Well, it is it, I’ve hit the bottom. I’m scared, feel alone, and feel unsupported. So those of you that don’t know, I’m a pre-nursing student in ON Canada, and I have had various health issues in the past and the one that’s effecting me the most with my education is that I have “Moderate sloping severe, sensorineural hearing loss” I’m continually losing my hearing, and what the average person hears at 50-60 decibels I’m hearing at 90. This has made school pretty difficult, even if I sit at the front of the class I have a hard time hearing professors, so I often have to make my own note from slides and textbooks- completely “ignoring” the teacher. I always thought it was too much background noise and teachers not projecting clearly, but no, it’s me. 😪 This isn’t easy and I hate to ask, but I know I have an awesome support team, and if you can donate, awesome!
