a couple of years ago i listened to the first 9 episodes of the magnus archives. your reblogs made me want to listen to the whole thing. just one question, should i re-listen to those first episodes or nothing of relevance to the overall story happens there? as far as i remember each one was a separate and independent story that had nothing to do with the narrator

i would listen to them again because like ...without spoiling too much all the ‘random’ stuff at the beginning does actually tie into stuff later and a lot of what you think are one-off characters will actually show up again as well. the first like 20 or so episodes you’re definitely going to be like ‘is there actually an on-going plot here?’ but it picks up after that. i think it took me like a week to listen to the first 20 eps and then i listened to the rest up through 160 in about 3 weeks so it’s one of those things where once things start happening you tend to get sucked in
