Hare Hound from Monster Rancher
I had 4 extra figures of Tiger from Monster Rancher / Monster Farm, so I painted them to be different Tiger breeds! I did Tropical Dog, Hare Hound, Licorice, and Balon. The last pic includes the 4 canon Tiger figures as well- regular Tiger, Grey Wolf, Datonare, and Daton Tropical Dog was pretty straight forward, but Hare Hound has an interesting backstory. My puppy grabbed the original Tiger figure & chewed the tail in half. So I decided to just make it into the Hare sub-breed, since that one has a shorter tail anyways. Then I also sanded down its muzzle and horns to match the game model. Licorice was hard to do since the runes on its side would warp a lot as the model moved in game, so I had to guess at the proper shapes. I think it turned out well tho! For Balon, I wasn't able to 100% mimic the patterns on its back. But the shiny gold paint I used looks cool~

Ah yeah... some other pics of that horned hare. ^v^ I shall make a collection of all the headcanons i now have for him. Here are two of them illustrated here :
- He became way more energetic and focused on training since he got revived (supposedly in the begining of Season 2), sometimes to the extend of tiring the entire village. That is until he's completely out of energy, which makes him instantly passing out and sleeping. When it happens, Hare Hound's the one taking care of him.
- He's fatherly towards Suezo since the day he saw him being unlocked. And lets say he used to be the playful and carefree kind of father. The one that could take you to adventures, even when it's a little dangerous. He's way less overcaring as Suezo grows up and more of a buddy, but he keeps jokingly refering to him as his kid.

The 100th page ! Hurraaaay !!! As for the subject, still some Monster Rancher sketches, this time using Suezo's childhood memories as an inspiration. I loved seeing how cute and cheeky he was as a little monster.
