Do you have any scar hcs for Layton characters? Particularly des and or Hershel?
Absolutely!

I think Des is definitely littered with them. A lot of cuts from working on things (a lot on his hands and arms), learning and practicing swordsmanship, and generally being accident prone. There's one wound in particular that takes place in my fics that leaves a considerable scar on his back but that's for later. I think he has some small burn areas as well... and I definitely think he's been shot more than once in the torso and probably in an arm. I believe he's unnaturally ambidextrous as a result of injuries over the years--as in, he's forced himself into becoming proficient in using his nondominant hand to go about tasks he'd normally use his dominant hand for. I believe he's naturally left handed, but uses his right more often in order to keep that skill sharpened. Aaand I definitely think that Super Azran Laser of Ultimate Death (TM) left an intense, strangely-shaped burn scar.
I think the majority of his scars are probably old... Over the years he's managed to refine his skills considerably so he doesn't get hurt as often, but he definitely still has accidents sometimes because he's somewhat of a klutz (which he would never ever admit to).
As for Layton. Y eAh no shot that he doesn't have a number of scars as well. Definitely some surgical scarring on his abdomen. A beating severe enough to knock you unconscious and plant you in the hospital for a
month
means damaged, potentially ruptured internal organs and emergency surgical repair or removal. Might've suffered a TBI as well, so there's probably some on his noggin. As for what kind of surgical scars, likely one big one across his abdomen and a few smaller ones surrounding depending on which organs were affected. Probably a few surgery scars on some of his limbs to fix broken bones. Maybe one on his head if he had a brain bleed from the blunt force trauma.
I know he's been stabbed in the shoulder at some point in the books, that was unfortunately spoiled for me. So there's definitely a considerable scar there. Otherwise I think there are plenty of scrapes and cuts, maybe some gravel under his skin in some areas. And of course no one gets out of my fics unscathed so there are those as well hehe.
