Hello Hare, thank you for the ask and I hope you are doing well! ☺️

For Favourite mug I think lately it’s been my Cherie mug. This is what it looks like.

I got it back in February for about $3 from a tj maxx branch (Homesense the Canadian version) and thought it was cute so I got it. It’s a really good size for tea and has a good handle and shape. I’ve been using it ever since.

2. I guess I have a lot on my mind... There are a lot of things I feel I need to get done. Some things fixing up things in my home like a falling curtain rod among others. There are some crafts I want to start or get done like perler projects, bracelets and things. Some art pieces I want to draw or finish up. Maybe get back into playing the great ace attorney game. And mainly get my self sorted with some things I need to file and do in my irl.

3. There are a lot of characters I like but one that I would like to hang out with would be maybe Baizhu from genshin, he seems really mellow and kind the type you could sit with and have a nice cup of tea or something with. Or maybe Queen Sonia from The Zelda series she also seems really kind and thoughtful while still being fun. Goodness there’s so many to choose, I’m trying my best to limit my picks but those were the first two that came to mind without trying to remind myself which characters I like. I feel these two would be a fun chill conversation especially over tea.

4. Well I’m still working on a Vil Schoenheit piece from Twisted wonderland since mid to late March. I’ve mostly finished the face an and hair and blocked in the shapes to be properly outlined but I keep having trouble getting back to it and the crown just makes me feel stuck with me only finishing half. Here’s a preview.

I’m putting the crown up front till I finished to erase the parts hidden by his hair.

For crafting I’ve also lately been getting into the Angelique series with reading the manga which is pretty good and have been working on a perler project based on the mini in game sprite. But ran out of the bright sunshine orangey-yellow. So until I get more I’m on hold for this project.

5. And I guess my favourite aesthetic is celestial aesthetic. Pretty stars and moons. With a cozy sleepy night vibe. With pretty blues, purples, yellows, oranges and pinks. This type of vibe.

Even so much so that most things I choose names with that vibe like luma in game files, my cat being named Luna and even my username here being starry-edits.

Feathers: Feathers are a very pleasing texture to Salem. He enjoys soft materials, such as velvet, felt, and cotton. He prefers downy feathers to normal feathers because they're so light and incredibly silky. Something is comforting about such softness, how delicately they brush against his skin, how he could just close his eyes and drift off, being surrounded by fluff.

Treats: Salem loves to bake. He makes fresh treats for his library cafe so people can enjoy tea and a snack while they read. He'll typically bake things that match the current season, so for example: with summer, the flavors of his pastries will be blueberry, lemon, strawberry, peach, raspberry, and orange. And chocolate of course, cuz you can't go wrong with chocolate any day.

Hats: Funnily enough, Salem doesn't usually wear hats. He'll wear one for practical purposes, such as gardening in the sun or for events, but otherwise, he's not the type to wear one. He says it's because they're "hard to wear with the volume of his mane."

Fascination: Salem's biggest fascination in life is stories. He's not just a librarian—he's also a historian. He's utterly enraptured by ancient legends; Ambrosia and the Azran, of course, being his main focus, but it's not just the Azran he's drawn to. Egyptian, Greek, Celtic, all kinds of legends passed down in writing or by word of mouth, all surviving over thousands of years to reach modern man. As a historian, it's his job to research those legends, and as a librarian, it's his job to share them with others.

Rabbits: Most people view rabbits as garden pests, but Salem thinks they're cute little creatures. His garden is situated on his roof where rabbits can't easily get to (unless they climb a tree), so his plants and herbs don't get munched on or dug up in the spring and summer. Since his library is at the edge of the woods, there are plenty of rabbits to be spotted, and on occasion he'll put out some spare veggies/fruits that he doesn't use so they can have their own treats.

1) Music! Music always makes me smile, especially singing along to it. There's nothing better than jamming in the car on the way to work or laying in the backyard and chilling to various playlists ^w^

2) Warm bread! You just can't beat a piece of fresh, warm bread with a slab of melted butter on it. The crunch of the crust, the soft tear that follows, all of it fresh and fragrant as it warms you up inside. Even better when it's ✨garlic bread✨

3) Gardening! My mom and I have a few pots with herbs and fresh greens growing in our yard, along with plenty of flowers and flower bushes. Every year we plant new bulbs, weed the garden, and harvest what grows at the end of the season. It's so beautiful when the flowers blossom, especially the roses and hydrangeas. It makes me happy when I can help her take care of them and watch them flourish

4) Walking in the park! There's a bike/walking path park near my house that I go to when it's not too hot or too chilly outside. It wraps in a huge loop, surrounded by woods on both the outside and inside. There's less trodden deer path that actually winds through the woods, and when I walk through it I can't help but feel giddy. It's whimsical, like I'm stepping into the territory of the fey or imagining there's something hidden waiting in the center for me to find

5) Reading in bed! Whether it's AO3 fanfic or a novel from my shelf, I love snuggling up under my blankets with a good book. Sometimes I'll make a cup of decaf tea or cocoa to sip and really get into a relaxed mood. It's one of the best ways to wind down after a long day 😌
