Upon one such world, humans and Faunus live in peace without the threat of Grimm, but amongst them live others, known as monsters, ranging from great beasts that must hide away, to those who can hide amongst the lives of others.
HW! Coco, sitting in the lunchroom of Beacon College: Wait, the bite still hasn't healed yet?
HW! Velvet, hiding the bite on her hand under her sleeve: We still haven't been able to find out what dog it was. Looked pretty big, at least it stopped itching.
HW! Coco: What did your parents say when you told them?
HW! Velvet: They're still on that business trip, and before you say anything, I'm not throwing a party.
HW! Coco, putting her drink down: Boo, you're no fun.
HW! Velvet, taking a bite of her sandwich: One thing that bugs me is that I never saw a dog with hair that blonde before.
Elsewhere, in the Xiao Long Household:
HW! Raven, sitting at the table with her arms crossed in disappointment: Are you sure the person you bit hasn't turned?
HW! Yang: If they did, I would have heard about it.
HW! Taiyang, setting some snacks down: I don't know much about this werewolf stuff, but the next full moon is tonight. Could that be useful?
HW! Raven: Hopefully it's nothing and Yang's bite is just a little accident. We don't want any of those beuracrats coming down on us for this.
When you hear a fearsome howl echo through the woods at night, sending chills down your spine, that's when you know... it's HareWolf season.
Here we have another piece of art for my HareWolf AU (I swear I love drawing this guy!), let's just say Elmer may have to stick with hunting during the day. 😅

*Our story begins during the night time, at a theater in Hollywood*
*There are spotlights flashing in different directions, and there's vehicles surrounding the place*
*Inside the theater, we see several people and toons sitting in the seats, all of them wearing elegant formal attire*
*We then cut to a dressing room, the door to the room has a star on it that reads "Bugs Bunny"*
*Inside the room, we see Bugs sitting in front of a vanity set, he's brushing his ears*
*He appears to be dressed in a black tuxedo top with a red bowtie*
*Suddenly, there was a knock at the door*
Bugs: Come in!
*The door opens and Denise enters the room*
*She's dressed in an elegant, light purple ball gown, it looked like something a princess would wear*
Denise: Hi Bugsy, I just came in to say that it's almost showtime.
Bugs: Ok, thanks Deni.
*Denise gets the biggest smile on her face*
Denise: Oh! Thank you so much for doing this for me, everyone's gonna love you!
Bugs: Aw Deni, I wouldn't miss this ceremony for anythin'.
*Denise squeals in delight and pulls Bugs into a hug*
*Bugs smiles at this and hugs her back, he softly purrs as he's hugging her*
Denise: I'm still a bit nervous though, do you think everything will be ok?
Bugs: Deni, trust me on this, nothin' in the world is gonna ruin this event.*
Denise smiles upon hearing this*
Denise: Yeah, you're right.
*She turns to walk away*
Denise: See you on stage, Bugsy.
Bugs: Bye Deni.
*And with that, Denise leaves the room*
*Bugs chuckles a bit*
Bugs: Good ol' Deni.
*And with that, he goes back to making himself look good for the ceremony*
*The focus goes towards a window on the far side of the room, where we see the beautiful night sky with it's shining stars, and the full moon shining bright*
*We then cut back to Bugs who's straightening his bowtie*
*At that moment, one of his hands starts to shake*
Bugs: Hm?
*He turns his attention towards his hand*
*His hand starts violently shaking*
*Bugs gets a bit nervous upon seeing this, he grabs his arm with his other hand in an attempt to stop the shaking*
*Suddenly, sharp claws rip through the fingertips of his gloves, Bugs shouts in fright upon seeing this*
Bugs: What the!?
*In his panicked state, he thinks back to a frightening time in his life, a time where a terrifying incident led to him transforming into a ferocious beast, a beast known to the Looney Tunes as..The HareWolf*
*Bugs gets a horrified expression on his face upon remembering this*
Bugs: I--I thought I was cured! I thought Marvin cured me!
*At that moment, we hear the audience cheering in the distance, along with Denise speaking to them*
Denise: Ladies and gentlemen, people and toons!
*Bugs let's out a nervous groan*
Bugs: I can't go out now, what if I transform in front of 'em!?
*He puts his hands on his head*
*He let's out another groan*
Bugs: But Deni is countin' on me!
Denise: It is with great pleasure that I present to you a very special guest, he's one of the most iconic toons in cartoon history, and also a very dear friend of mine.
*Bugs gets a look of guilt on his face upon hearing this*
*He looks down at his clawed hand and sighs*
Bugs: It's just one hand, you can go out there, and then come right back.
*We then cut to Denise, who is standing at a podium, talking into the mic*
Denise: He's definitely someone you've at least heard of before, here to accept the award for best cartoon star of the year, I present to you, Bugs Bunny!
*Everyone starts clapping and cheering*
*Bugs walks onto the stage and walks towards Denise, waving at everyone with his non clawed hand*
*We see Lola in the audience, squealing in delight*
Lola: That's my fiance up there! Love you Bun Bun!
*Bugs smiles at her upon hearing this*
*Denise grabs a trophy off of the podium and hands it Bugs*
*Bugs takes the trophy and walks up to the podium*
Bugs: Thank you for this honor everyone, it's truly been a delight to bring joy and laughter to everyone around the world.
*We see Daffy roll his eyes at this*
Daffy: Oh brother..
Bugs: I'd like to thank everyone who came here to support me, especially my wonderful fiance, Lola.
*Everyone starts cheering upon hearing this*
Bugs: Yep, we're finally takin' the next step in our relationship.
*Lola smiles upon hearing this*
Bugs: And my dear friend, Denise, who is honestly the best friend I've ever had.
*Denise gets the biggest smile on her face upon hearing this*
Denise: Bugsy..!
*Bugs chuckles a bit*
*His laughter fades however when his other hand starts to shake*
*He quickly turns his attention towards his hand, just in time to see claws rip through the fingertips of his glove*
*Bugs gets an extremely nervous look on his face*
Bugs: Uh oh..
???: Mr.Bunny, what are your plans for the future, what can we expect to see next from the Looney Tunes?
Bugs: Uh, w-well, we've certainly got some great things in the works.
??: Like what?
Bugs: W-Well we uh.
*At that moment, his teeth start to change into fangs*
*Bugs immediately covers his mouth with his shirt*
Bugs: Y-Ya know, we can't give out too many details just yet.
*Denise gets a look of concern on her face, and walks towards Bugs*
Denise: Bugsy, are you ok?
Bugs: Y-Yeah, why wouldn't I be?
*He then looks down at his feet to see sharp claws grow from his toes*
*Denise notices the look of horror in Bugs' eyes*
Denise: You look really scared, not to mention you're covering your face.
Bugs: W-Well I-
*His fur starts to become wild and mangy*
*Denise becomes very concerned upon seeing this*
Denise: Bugs, what's going on with you?
*At that moment, Bugs let's out a worried whine*
*Bugs immediately covers his mouth, despite it already being covered by his shirt*
Denise: What was that?
Bugs: Uh..I gotta go, thank you everyone, you've been a wonderful audience, that's all folks!
*And with that, Bugs immediately dashes off of the stage*
Denise: Bugs wait!
*Denise immediately runs after Bugs, the audience watches on in confusion and concern*
*Bugs runs as fast as he can, until he feels like he's far enough away from the crowd*
*That's when he notices his fur start to darken into a dark gray color*
Bugs: No no no, please! Not again!
*His eyes become a yellow color, tears well up in his eyes*
*He holds himself as he falls to his knees, grunting in pain*
*We hear a dreaded ripping sound as his muscles start to expand*
*His hands rip through his gloves, revealing his hands*
*His body rips through his suit as it takes on a more muscular appearance*
*Bugs' grunts soon turn into growls, tears stream down his face*
*Parts of his suit fall to the floor*
*What was once a nice tuxedo top is now a tattered and torn piece of fabric*
*At that moment, Bugs let's a loud, powerful howl*
*We then cut to Denise, who is seen running around, desperately searching for Bugs*
*She shouts in fright upon hearing the pained howls of her friend*
Denise: What the!?
*We then cut back to Bugs, who is seen kneeling on his hands and knees, taking a second to catch his breath*
*Bugs catches a glimpse of himself in a mirror on the wall*
*He yelps in fright upon seeing his reflection*
Denise: Bugs! Where are you!?
*Bugs whines in worry upon hearing the distressed calls of his friend*
Bugs: I gotta get outta here..!
*He says in a rough voice*
*He immediately starts looking for a possible exit*
*That's when he notices a large window on the wall on the far side of the room*
*Bugs gets a hopeful smile on his face upon seeing this, and immediately starts running towards the window*
*At that moment, Denise enters the area*
Denise: Bugs! Bugs wait I-
*She immediately gasps in shock upon seeing the sight in front of her*
*Bugs turns his attention towards her*
*He gets a saddened expression upon seeing Denise's frightened expression*
Denise: Bugsy..
*Tears well up in Bugs' eyes, he immediately leaps onto his hands and feet, and dashes for the window*
Denise: Bugs wait!
*She tries to run after him, but Bugs jumps out of the window before she can catch him*
*She runs up to the window*
Denise: Bugs!!
*She's then forced to watch as her dearest friend runs into the night*
*Tears well up in her eyes as she hears a sorrowful howl in the distance*
Yeesh! Talk about a "hairy" situation! 😂 I'll show myself out..
I was actually inspired by a concept done by @bellaartz She did something similar, and.. I got inspired to make a design for how Bugs would look as a wererabbit.

So I've been wanting to make one of these for a while, but I didn't know what I wanted to use as a candidate, but I ultimately decided to use my design for HareWolf Bugs as a candidate!
