#HarlemFavs 💯 | This spot quickly became one of my favorites. Accra Restaurant 2065 Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd, New York, NY 10027 | @accrarestaurant | Awesome Authentic African cuisine. Jollof rice & stew, plantains with fish, chicken or steak. Egusi soup and Kontomire was ridiculous as well. This place is open late too. Great for the late night riders! #harlemfavs 💯 || Next feature is a great establishment called The Edge at 101 Edgecombe Ave, New York, NY 10030. @theedgeharlem || This might throw you off, but the menu is a mix of Jamaican, England, and New York. But it works! With a mix of ackee & saltfish, fish & chips or shrimp & parmesan grits you can find what you need. I had the codfish fritters which were ridiculous! And the festival which went great with my turkey bacon, grits and plantains. If you're smart. you'll get The 580 with your meal. Which is rum punch topped with champagne and sorrel syrup. Kick your brunch up a notch. #HarlemFavs 💯: 3rd in the series is a dope spot called Bean & Barley @beanbarley_harlemnyc | 2118 Frederick Douglas Blvd, New York, NY 10026. Just opened a few weeks ago but the vibe is nice. I go here frequently to work from my laptop. Great #coffee, muffins and scones are crazy and yes I tried the #quiche which was awesome. At night, it’s turns into a bar. They pour the meanest #guinness in the neighborhood. (Try to the NY sour if you’re feeling froggy!) Owners are cool as well. I have something special here for the next #HarlemFavs feature. Perfect spot called Vinateria ( 2211 Frederick Douglass Blvd, New York, NY 10026). Menu has cuisines inspired from Italy and Spain. They use locally sources ingredients when they can. GREAT wine selection and the Bloody Mary's are ridiculous with an awesome house mix. Everything I've had is phenomenal. Applewood Smoked Bacon Cheese Burger, $1 Oysters for happy hour, Black Spaghetti and Italian Breakfast Wrap are all worthy of praise.
