Inside the seaside manor of “Chief Wulf,” there lived the maid “Howlz.”

He worked alongside a coworker named “Chelsie.”

They were haunted by strange occurrences, like ghost stories, forbidden and secret rooms, or “spells” being spread around the residence, but those two had a pleasant time together.

Recently, “Howlz” had to take on a new job to find a missing guest, but struggled due to his inability to speak, his trembling legs, and so on.

The day would come when “Chelsie” would be blinded, and upon greeting the maid of this story, she would grumble,

“You shouldn’t be here.”

This AU is based off of "A Spoonful of SPELL" by r-906. Because I thought the lyrics fit initially, but then it turned into an insane daydream that I would not stop coming back to.

Opening text based off of translations from Somedogs (from Vocaloid Lyrics Wiki) (the blog resource link doesn't work for Somedogs blog so I'll just link to the lyrics website) and cross-referenced with this ENG cover of the song. By the way, if you like A Spoonful of SPELL, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE check out this English cover. There are SUCH GOOD translyrics.

Anyways, yes. Hi. This is the big thing I kept mentioning (and subsequently never finishing). The designs technically aren't done yet, which you can probably tell, but to be honest, I've been losing interest in the song lately, and I had an idea for a different AU. So I'm basically like... might as well post this. :P

Basically, it changes a couple of major things that will make this AU easier to understand:

It does not take place in a digital world. Everything that happens is considered supernatural, not digital influence or attacks from Starlings entering the game world.

Bucky's world and Cogware's Shipwrecked 64 world are both combined and have always been.

Chief Wulf actually does hire Howlz. Bucky is not wrong with his assumption this time!

Anyways, you could probably tell my art progressively improved while doing this. It was kind of like a challenge to "draw all the Shipwrecked characters, but either in maid outfits or Victorian-inspired outfits!!" that I unfortunately couldn't complete.

One thing I will note is that for Walter's design, I did use a material for the first time, like those things in the Ibis Paint corner where it has a bunch of fabric patterns. I found a free one that matched what I was looking for, but I dunno. I felt weird using it. It's the only thing I'm kinda self-conscious about doing. Lmk if I shouldn't do that. It seems like it's fine? I didn't see anything online necessarily against it, but in the future, I don't think I'll use them.

By the way, drawing Gizmo for the first time made me appreciate him a lot more. He's just a guy. Please don't bother him with photography.

Anyways! Yes, you read that right! I have fics already! I started writing again big time after I lost my energy to do music, so I guess my artistic interests swapped as of like, a month ago.

Soooooo I think that's it! I might do more art (that's not just designs in a white void :P) of this AU, whether that be finishing up the designs or pieces based on the AU. Depends on when I get into the AU/song again, because I'm pretty sure I'm going to remain being into Shipwrecked 64 for a long while... it is indeed a long-lasting interest for me...
