i know people have done fanart of the aliens but is there any official art of what rhaxa might look like?? i have mild aphantasia and struggle with visualising things i've never seen before

there isn't any official art - for an idea of what they look like, there is some awesome fanart in the bug lore tag, but i haven't officially done or commissioned any art of them😔

"#god i hate roaches lmao" was somehow really comforting to read bc i have this unnatural fear of roaches and now i know i'll never see one here (i have literally gotten injured getting as far away from cockroaches as i can)

I frickin... can’t stand roaches. I can’t get over the ick/pest factor.

One of the scariest moments of my life was when I was in Hawaii with my family, and mom left a box of fried rice from dinner in the car. This was just after dinner and we left to go out walking around the town, got an ice cream, etc. We get back to the car, and my husband says “don’t look up, and get out of the car.”

There were roaches... everywhere. All over the damn car, especially on the roof of the car. There were too many to deal with in the parking lot and we had to drive back to the hotel in a ROACH COACH. I was whimpering and screaming the whole way whenever I thought one touched me. Traumatizing.

We bug bombed the car the next day and fixed that though but JEEZ. I can’t do roaches. You’ll never see a pet roach on this blog.

It’s possible. I remember us talking about how Bioware needed someone to keep the lore coherent, a lore keeper who will check things like that. I think that person even has a name/specific title with Star Wars.

i love sloane and i love reyes and i love them both for very different reasons, but after reading the book (whichever one it is i can't remember) with sloane and getting more of her story, i can honestly say she gets more development. HOWEVER, what ryder sees is a very warped picture of a human who basically invaded and took over an angaran port. so yeah with that in mind, it always seems more in character for my ryders to let reyes take over

Ah yes. Each Ryder should 100% do what they want, but if you think about it and about what Ryder would do... The “choice” isn’t about letting Reyes taking over. It’s not about deciding who gets to lead Kadara. It’s not a political decision. Basically, you might save Sloane because you believe your Ryder would not let a sniper murder her like that, but that doesn’t mean you pick her as Kadara leader.

And if Ryder doesn’t know Sloane that well, it’s not sure they know a lot about Reyes either... But they see Sloane’s worst and not much else, agreed. They also aren’t told the full story and truth about the Nexus uprising. Also something that annoys me.
