⭐️ (but... consider this a star for whichever of my other muses you'd like to throw a headcanon out for, too?)

⭐️ Siggy: She is glad for the resemblance. So people don't make such a big deal. It wrecks her when people act like Sigyn had done something so brave and noble in taking Hel into her heart when for Hel it was never.. a choice. Sigyn was ALWAYS there. They were always family and acting like she's just putting on a brave face to save her feelings.. feels so cheap.

⭐️The twins: Speaking of resemblance, once she stole Narvi's clothes and absconded with Vali and there were enough people convinced she was Narvi that they all got in very serious trouble when he said he wasn't where he "had been seen with his brother". She hated puberty for stealing that stealth ability from her.

⭐️ Boda: She was the first person to find Hel after she was sent away. And she's always held fast to the thought that that was for the best. There was simply noone else who could have brought her back to herself. Not her brothers, her other parents.. no one. They came together and stayed together, cradling each other for dear and desperate life and she is death's mother, not death herself but that one time she managed to bring a soul back from the dead.

Hel was abuzz with excitement as she brought a laptop. Her laptop? over to her mother and violently pointed at the screen. "Look, Mother!" She happily exclaimed, "Someone made us in the Sims!" And indeed there was a woman that resembled a certain actress known for her role in Star Trek and right beside a small child Sim with a striking resemblance and a mane of bright red hair.

"The way they worship now is..." Her brows furrowed slightly but her smile didn't waver ever an iota, "Bizarre and insane." Her voice grew deep and grave as she eagerly announced, "I am their god and now they are mine."

Hel inhaled, trying her best to calm herself but it was to no avail. She clung so tight to Angrboða's top that she heard a small rip in the fabric and even that wasn't enough to convince her to loosen her grip. The young goddess wasn't entirely sure if her mother was real. She was very sure that she didn't care.

"It's okay," She said finally, "It's okay. I know you would have been here if you could have."

Hel inhaled and exhaled deeply. Content and happy as her weight settled on her mother's chest. It was a rare moment for them. When the village outside did not ask the presence of it's leader and the child within was settled enough to rest. Hel was not asleep. But she smiled at the flickering firelight on the far wall. Reveled in the comfort her mother's arms provided.

There was no safety like this. No serenity like this. She had been crafted with such love and care, a soundtrack of the heartbeat thrumming beneath her ear, ever in the background.

This was the definition of safety. Tranquility. Laying against the warmth she once belonged within.

For a little girl, there was no finer place to rest.
