Had a few months when I was really into drawing flowers.
This piece got a daily deviation. I'm very proud of that. There are things I'd fix in this drawing, but sometimes I'm good enough. :>

Siiri was a headstrong capable lady when she was younger. She's even more strong and cunning in her 50's though. :> Drawing a scene where she really gets to shine, bit impatient to start updating to show it BUT I gotta be a good boy and complete the buffer first.

Part of me would like to draw a map of the lands that the Harmonsuo own. Back in the day people could get acres and acres of land when they bought a house, and I reckon the Harmonsuo are one of those households. They've been in the same place for 7 generations, I always fancied that they'd own the whole area in Hiidenkirnu.
English term for Hiidenkirnu : Giant's Kettle.
Why they decided to call the area Hiidenkirnu is because it has the lake in the center, making up the hole, the 'kettle', or the 'churn'.
"Hiisi" is akin to an impish creature. These fair Harmonsuo children fight against the spirits of plagues and sickness. Those spirits can definitely be described as impish.
These spirit-like creatures spawn from the lake.
Imps (hiisi ¹ ) rising from the lake (churn ² ). Hiiden ¹ kirnu ² .
That's a tyrade I didn't expect from myself this early in the morning
I was trying to figure out what I'd like Sakari's beard to be like. Big part of me wishes he'd always had it. Now I have to draw it growing in gradually before it can be braided...

^ I think this was supposed to be a traversal plane between Kalevala and the home world but it turned out nothing like this. Once I had the idea for a blue, dark place with trees, I couldn't leave it :B
