Having four teenagers in the house was hard. They all had their respective ideas and wants and needs. Three of them didn’t technically live full time with them, but it was getting there. It didn’t allow for Emma to take much time for herself, as someone - if not the actual teenagers, the other one, who happened to be her husband - needed something all the time. It was hectic, full of adventures, not to mention villains - they still came and she still jumped in to stop them, more and more with the help of her step children.
They were, for once, all at home, when the pain started. Emma rested on the couch as soon as it did, leaving the household for her husband to take care of for once. But as the pain grew worse, she knew it seemed serious as even Hooks children seemed alarmed and even worried. Eventually Killian called it enough. He took Emma to the hospital and told the children to stay where they were - and not burn down the house.
It took so many hours in which Killian stayed by their side. In the early morning they welcomed their little surprise. None of them had even realized that Emma had been pregnant. She suspected her magic had hidden the kid. After a few precious moments with their child, Killian finally went home. Emma had asked him to ask Harriet to come first. She was his eldest - all together the eldest - and she kind of managed the household for her siblings. Well she needed to see the baby first.
Emma was holding the bundle of joy when she heard the door open.
“Hey girl. Sorry for worrying you.”
