Its just funny how
Steve, Billy and Eddie all have (would have) a different reaction to finding out about the upside down and fighting the demodogs and shit
We have Steve
Which is a literal epitome of a hero brain. He literally rushes into fight and doesn't have a one braincell to think if it harms him. A himbo
Billy would be THRILLED, like THAT would be a second christmas for him. He’d be HYPED that he can finally beat the shit out of something, anything. For his rage outlet
And Eddie is, hilarously, “the normal” one that literally said - what the shit- and wants to get away from there. He would be like: “GUYS- GUYS WHERE THE F U GOIN??? GUYz ..!” As he should
Am I the only one that has a felling that if Billy lived in Hopper's house Hopper would have the the 3 inches rule for him too if Steve was around.
oh but the moment billy and steve get together for real! billy becomes a baby kitten who has his claws on steve’s skin will screech, growl and scream at anyone who tries to take steve away from him
maybe somebody's already talked about this?
but i've been thinking about Harringrove as dads today and i'm rather fond of the idea of middle aged Harringrove taking in a troubled teen like Billy.
like maybe Steve's reluctant at first cause the kid's all barbed wire, but Billy can't just walk away from this kid who reminds him so much of himself, knowing exactly the kind of love and support the kid needs and that they can give it to them. or even flip it the other way, where Billy's not convinced and Steve is.
idk man i just like this idea a lot. i think there's lots to explore with it.
You Can Keep the Necklace That I Gave to You; I'll keep the shitty Tattoos RIP; You & Me Part 5: Billy could never have nice things. That's what his dad had always told him, ever since he was a kid and would break a toy or tear up a book when he didn't get his way. He had gotten into countless fights after his mom died, trying to prove that he was enough. Trying to prove that he was more than just the boy who's mom had died and who's dad smacked him around. Billy also had a tendency to get too attached too soon. To his possessions, like the Camaro, his leather jacket, the silver lighter that he had stolen from the corner store back in San Diego. And to people. People who never stuck around. *** Once again Billy breaks everything he touches, leaving him and Steve trying to figure out what happens next.
We’re all sleeping on the ‘Pretty Woman’ Harringrove AU. It would be called ‘Pretty Boy’ and Steve would be the young scion of his father’s company and Billy would be a hooker in Hollywood. This shit is writing itself. King_of_wishful_thinking.mp4 starts blasting out of your stereo.
The crew spend Christmas Eve at Will's house because come on they're basically just a family anyways. Christmas Eve warrants eating a way too big dinner, early presents and singing along to Christi music all night. Steve does this bit while Joyce and Hopper are cooking dinner where he dresses up as Santa and gives all the kids small presents him, Nancy, Jonathan and Billy all put in for. Santa Baby comes on as Billy is arriving and he sees the perfect opportunity with Steve all dressed up.
"Santa baby slip a sable under the tree for me Billy mouths to him across the room
"I've been an awful good girl" Billy starts swaying his hips in his direction
"Think of all the fun I've missed" He's made it to him by this point, dancing like a fool on the way over
"I think of all the fellas" he kisses his neck "that I haven't kissed" he's sitting on his lap facing him
By this point Steve is resisting a little cos the kids are there but he's also not hating it
"Next year I'll be just as good" he licks from his collar bone to about half way up his neck as everyone else watched in horror
"Come and trim my Christmas tree" Billy is kissing him on the lips now with his hands on his shoulders and Jonathan has had enough and tries to pull Billy off but Billy just pushed him away with one hand without ever taking his lips off Steve's face.
You get the idea it was inappropriate for the kids but then Joyce walks in to tell everyone dinners ready and B O I she was not happy. She grabs billy by the waist and calls for Hopper. Hopper takes him outside and gives him a stern talk about keeping it PG in front of kids and honestly in front of other people full stop
