Someone asked me the other day who has more fans harry or louis and on paper you would say harry. Well after seeing louis in concert for the first-time tonight [and obviously I've seen harry a few times] this is my in-depth answer to that question...
A lot of people go to harry's concerts because it's harry fuckin styles and he is the "it" male pop star right now. A third of the people who go to harry's concerts are going simply bc of that fact. Yes he has a lot of fan fans but he also has a lot of "for the moment" omg I saw harry styles fans who will most likely get bored and leave when he goes on break.
Do you count all those who go for the SM clout to harry's concerts fans? Would they stick around being a fan during the hard times or a haitus like louis fans have? Doubtful. I am very aware all but one of the people I went to a harry concert with will not care about him and he will become a faded memory to them when he goes on break. One in particular will go back to eye rolling at me when I mention harry "to much" the way they use to back in my 1D fan days and even early harry solo fan days.
Tonight at louis concert I experienced something truly magical. A venue filled with nearly 17k people showing massive massive love and support for the man on stage. I may not agree with the views of some of the fans their [IE. think louis is straight or a dad hard to ignore] BUT at least it truly felt like everyone there without a doubt loved and cared for louis and wasn't just there for a SM clout moment. People aren't going to louis concert for SM clout the way a lot of people do for harry concerts.
So when someone asks me who has more fans it's not as easy of an answer as one might think.
