My friend @smileslikeparentheses deserves all the love so I asked the wonderful @harry-virdy to draw her kitty Hawke for her. I am beyond stunned about this beautiful art and hope you will be as well, darling. 💖

Using pen to border shapes created by the chaotic watercolor, “Brocked Externally” by harry-virdy creates a unique and exceptional portrait.
Saw this painting by harry-virdy.tumblr.com and got inspired. When writing, never let the tiny details escape you; a simple description of someone’s eyes can reveal more about them than you realise.
Blue Eyes
She wasn’t pretty but her eyes were stunning. They resembled the ocean in the way that they were a stormy blue-grey except for when the light sparkled through them and they became like sapphires. A navy ring hugged the edge of her iris, contrasting beautifully against the lighter colour. Her pale lashes weren’t long although they swept together at the corner, giving her eyes an unusually dynamic shape. Her pupils were soft and dark but for a fleck of gold that only appeared in her right eye when she stood in the light. A jagged, white ring circled her pupils, reminding one of a lightning bolt that flashes across the sky in a midnight storm. You could get lost in those eyes. They looked as if they had seen too much, so full of sorrow and anger were they. However, every now and then, when she smiled, an amazing thing would happen. The sadness would leave her eyes and be replaced by wonder. They turned from a raging ocean into deep forest pools and a magic flickered about them. The girl was plain and she knew it, but her eyes were from another world.
Any feedback on my writing would be much appreciated :)
